Rainbow Whist Drive

The Rainbow Whist Club meets on the Second Wednesday of the month ( September to May) in St. Bridget's Hall from 2.00 till 4.00pm.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and soon the five tables are busy. The chatter is subdued whilst the games are played, concentration being essential as a careless card can cost lives.

Progressive Whist is played in which players play three hands and then move on to the next table.

A discussion amongst the experienced players is a post-mortem on last week's games and which clubs they play next.

Tea and biscuits are served at 3 o'clock. Winner prizes for 1st, 2nd and booby prizes in each colour are presented at 4 o'clock to close a pleasant afternoon.
